You are pregnant!

What a special time for you and those around you. For nine months, you carry an extra little heart with you, a mini version of you both, beautifully formed. A maternity session is a gentle pause in this journey, a way to hold onto the feeling of now before it becomes memory.

When?

Between 30 and 36 weeks is usually the best time to take photos (earlier or later is possible too, of course!).

Together, we will discuss which day and time works best for you. I prefer photographing during sunrise or sunset for the most beautiful light.

The months of March, April, September, and October are the most child-friendly in terms of timing, for any siblings.

Where?

This can be done comfortably at your home or at one of the beautiful outdoor locations. For example, the Soesterduinen, the Panbos, by the water, or a place that is special to you.

How long?

A maternity shoot lasts about one hour, but I take the time that is needed. I find it important to get to know each other calmly first and for you to feel at ease.

Weather forecast?

If the forecast is bad, we will discuss together whether the shoot can go ahead or if we need to reschedule it to a new date.

Clothing?

When booking a photoshoot, you will receive a handy guide with extensive (clothing) tips. Additionally, I have a number of dresses that you may borrow free of charge during a shoot.

The photos?

After the shoot, you will receive a preview within three days. Within two weeks, you will receive a link to the personal online photo gallery. You will make a selection from these, and they will be sent in high resolution.

Ordering additional photos is possible for €5 per extra photo.
