What a special time for you and the people closest to you. A newborn shoot is a chance to pause, breathe, and gently capture these first fleeting days. Exactly as they are, full of love and new beginnings.

When?

It is possible to schedule a newborn shoot up to about three months after birth. Between 8 and 20 days is usually the best time to take photos.

Together, we will discuss which day and time works best for you. I prefer photographing during sunrise or sunset for the most beautiful light (outdoor location).

The months of March, April, September, and October are the most child-friendly in terms of timing.

Where?

This can be done comfortably at your home or at one of the beautiful outdoor locations. For example, the Soesterduinen, the Panbos, by the water, or a place that is special to you.

How long?

A newborn shoot lasts about an hour and a half, but I take the time needed and go with the flow of you and the baby. I find it important to get to know each other calmly first and for you to feel at ease. There is plenty of time in between for feeding and changing.

Weather forecast?

When the forecast is bad, we discuss together whether the shoot can go ahead or if we need to reschedule it to a new date.

Clothing?

When booking a photoshoot, you will receive a handy guide with extensive (clothing) tips. In addition, I have a number of dresses that you can borrow free of charge during a shoot.

The photos?

After the shoot, you will receive a preview within three days. Within two weeks, you will receive a link to the personal online photo gallery. You will make a selection from this, and it will be sent to you in high resolution.

It is possible to order additional photos for €5 per extra photo.
